The student leaders of Live Well Lauderhill visited the City Commission meeting on Monday night to present the PhotoVoice project and receive a resolution that it would be displayed inside City Hall for the month of February. Students were given the opportunity to present before the commission body and tell the story of their community through photos. What a great experience for everyone to hear the vantage point of the students. Proud parents and families were present for the exciting night!

This is so exciting! It inspires me to see our Youth taking such an impressive leadership role in the community. They are inspiration to all youth!
Cara–We are so proud of the students’ hard work and are so fortunate to work on their behalf. Joy Robinson and Jocelyn Boyd at the Lauderhill Community Y are doing great work!
O.M.G!!!!! I feel great to know that my voice and the other students’ voice can be heard.
